CARE ADVICE FOR SILVER JEWELRY WITH STONES AND CRYSTALS
In order for your jewelry to stay nice and complete for as long as possible, it is important to take care of it. Here are our care tips for jewelry with crystals.
Take care of your jewelry and take it off when you shower, sleep and exercise so that it stays nice for a long time. Some crystals are more sensitive to water, so it is best to always keep your jewelry dry. Put on your jewelry after perfume, skin and hair products have dried, so it does not come into contact with your jewelry.
BRACELET / NECKLACE WITH ELASTIC THREAD
Bracelets and necklaces with elastic thread are a popular and simple piece of jewelry. Elastic threads are available in different qualities and thicknesses. An elastic bracelet is exposed to a lot of wear and tear as it is often pulled on and off the arm. You should never pull out the elastic thread more than necessary. The elastic thread cannot withstand water, extreme cold or heat. We recommend removing the bracelet / necklace when sleeping, exercising or showering and bathing.
STERLING SILVER 925
Sterling Silver is one of the most used metals in the world. Silver jewelry is durable, but all silver darkens over time. Silver reacts to hydrogen sulphide and oxygen which can be found, among other things, on the skin, in various fabrics, perfumes and in some skin creams. Metals such as silver do not rust, but they can darken faster if they are frequently exposed to water.
You can clean your sterling silver jewelry with mild detergent and lukewarm water. After cleaning, gently dry the silver jewelry with a cotton cloth and use a silver polishing cloth to bring up the shine.
GOLD PLATING OVER STERLING SILVER 925
Jewelry with gold plating over Sterling Silver 925 is a durable piece of jewelry but should be avoided when you shower, exercise or bathe. Put on your jewelry after perfume, skin and hair products have dried, so it does not come into contact with your jewelry.
